Usage Instructions: Washing Tips: 1. Follow wash care labels for best results. Some articles should be dry-cleaned only. 2. Wash non fast colours quickly and separately in cool water. 3. Some colours are fast to washing but may run if soaked. Do not soak wool silk or leather. We recommend washing woollens in Softly. 5. Most garments keep their new look longer if kept in their natural shape when drying. 6. In hard water areas the addition of a water softener may be necessary. Handwashing 1/3 - 1/2 cup (for washable silk lace and lingerie). Thoroughly dissolve Lux Flakes in hot water then add cold water to bring down to the required temperature preferably warm before adding clothes. Squeeze suds gently through clothing avoiding rubbing wringing and undue agitation when washing fine articles. Rinse thoroughly in warm water. Remove excess moisture. Do not tumble dry. Dry away from direct heat and sunlight to prevent yellowing of fabrics. Note: Silk should be drycleaned unless it is clear from the care label t, A recipe to make your own laundry detergent powder. Ingredients - 1 cup of Softly Pure Soap Flakes - 1 teaspoon of Bicarbonate of Soda (Baking Soda) - 2 drops of Eucalyptus Oil Method Combine all of the ingredients and blend to a fine consistency. To wash, dissolve one teaspoon in 14/2 cup of boiling water and add to the detergent section of your washing machine. Store the mix in a sealed air-tight container. Washing Cloth Nappies: - Rinse first to remove excess soiling. - Soak nappies in cold water using a sanitiser if required. - Machine wash in hot water with Softly Pure Soap Flakes. - Rinse thoroughly. Warning: Continuous use of Softly Pure Soap Flakes in an automatic washing machine is not recommended. Always use correct dosage for optimum results and minimum environmental impact. To reduce the chance of soap build up we recommend that Softly Premium Liquid or a laundry powder is used in a hot water cycle every 10-12 washes. Avoid contact with the eyes. Rinse and dry hands thoroughly after use. Softly Pure Soap Flakes are mild on hands, however people with sensitive or damaged skin should avoid prolonged use with the product.
